What You'll Learn

Design Fundamentals

Master typography, color theory, and composition. You'll work with real client briefs and learn to critique design effectively while building a strong foundation in visual hierarchy.

Weeks 1-4

User Research & Testing

Learn to conduct user interviews, create personas, and run usability tests. We'll teach you research methods that actually influence design decisions and improve user outcomes.

Weeks 5-8

Prototyping & Interaction

Build interactive prototypes that communicate your ideas clearly. From wireframes to high-fidelity mockups, you'll learn to present concepts that stakeholders understand and approve.

Weeks 9-12

Portfolio Development

Create a portfolio that tells your design story. We'll help you document your process, articulate design decisions, and present work in ways that impress hiring managers.

Submit your application with a brief portfolio or design samples. We review applications on a rolling basis and typically respond within one week.

Portfolio Review & Interview

Selected candidates participate in a 30-minute video interview where we discuss your goals, experience, and expectations for the program.

April - May 2025

Pre-Program Prep

Accepted students receive access to preparatory materials including software tutorials, recommended reading, and introduction to design thinking frameworks.

June - August 2025

Program Begins

Classes start with orientation week where you'll meet your cohort, set up your workspace, and begin your first design project with mentor guidance.
